Rock ’n’ Roll Camp for Girls, Central Florida is a week long day camp held during summer that offers girls, ages 8-17, the opportunity to form a band, write an original song, and perform at a local live music venue at the end of the week showcase. The girls also participate in various workshops throughout the week including screen printing, songwriting, self-defense, history of women in music, and body image.
Unfortunately, we are without a location and are not able to find a
place that will fit our needs. Our location for the past 3 years is
to undergo some construction this summer making us unable to occupy as normally scheduled. If anything changes we will let you all know, but at this juncture we are sad to say that camp probably will not be happening in 2015. We appreciate your continued support as you all are great ambassadors for rock camp.
Cost to attend: $350.00
Cost assistance available! Online payments may be made through PayPal.
Hey campers! We want to get to know you and hear a little more about you prior to camp. Using any way you wish, you’ll be asked to answer one or more “get to know you” questions. Your answer may come in the form of a short story, poem, essay, or song, a collage, drawing, or painting, a short video, photos, or audio recording. Your application will not be complete without it. Don’t worry, you won’t be graded! This is a required piece of your application.
Applying for cost assistance will neither increase nor decrease your chances of getting into the program. We encourage you to ask for assistance if you need it. Fill out the form, one for each camper for whom you are applying. Sign and send in the form with your program application. You may be contacted for a follow-up phone interview.
